"RIGHT" TEACHER IS HELD TO BE "WRONG".
Faribault High School in Minnesota has pulled a science teacher from tenth-grade biology class because he gave evidence against evolution during his instruction on evolution. The teacher, Rodney LeVake, was reassigned to teach freshman science, which does not address evolution. He filed suit in June 1999. The American Center for Law and Justice, which has not taken other cases involving evolution, said this is a strong case for religious discrimination because school officials questioned LeVake about his Christian beliefs (Citizen, 1/00).[Editor] Teachers must teach "theories" as "truth" and parents won't do anything about it. Maybe one or two will voice a difference and maybe one will try and take action, but not enough to make a difference. I'll be willing to venture that this teacher is "standing alone" in that school district.
Folks, I have learned by the attitude of the Hico, TX community that you DO NOT place confidence in the community to "take a stand" for righteousness. I stand alone here in my efforts to inform the community of unconstitutional and harmful policies, and receive no response in my efforts to education them and encourage them to take a stand.
WRONG is winning out over RIGHT. Right? Is America in a spiritual revival? Wrong.
***************************************************"WRONG" TEACHER IS HELD TO BE "RIGHT"
The California labor commissioner has ruled that parents have no right to pull their students from the classroom of a lesbian teacher simply because she discusses her homosexual lifestyle. The incident began when Alta Kavanaugh reportedly made multiple references to her sexual orientation in class, to which the parents strongly objected. She filed a complaint against school officials when they allowed the students to withdraw from her class. The Hemet school district has not determined whether it will appeal the decision (National Liberty Journal, 3/00).[Editor] What can I say? How 'bout that! When some communities DO take a stand, the liberal courts take away their rights. I'm just about tired of this. BAD NEWS is all I hear. The only GOOD NEWS I hear of is some "fool" preaching the gospel of Christ, (1 Cor 3:18; 2 Cor 12:11) and then the BAD NEWS is that hardly anybody believes it anymore.
********************************************************THE ATHIESTIC CENTURY
Back in 1900 a mere 0.2% of the inhabitants of planet earth claimed to be atheist, agnostic, or non-religious. By the close of the 20th century, however, 988 million people (18.3 % of the global population) said they didn't believe in God. ("Current Thoughts &Trends", Feb 2000)[Editor] I don't know how they arrived at these figures, but that is not so much as what bothers me. I believe my calling is to expose deception in "politically correct " churches. Thats CHURCHES now mind you. I speak out against those who say they DO believe in God, and against those that say they ARE religious, but deny the power thereof. (2 Tim 3:5)
I HATE sin and I HATE those that call themselves Christian (followers of Christ) but follow the world and false teachers. I HATE those that bring reproach to the Name of Christ and put Him to an open shame.
******************************************************CHURCH CONCERTS: THE POWER OF WHAT?
The Detroit News reporting on a monthly church-sponsored concert, which draws more fans than most local clubs says that the unique approach at attracting young adults to church, even in a concert-type setting, has paid off. Many in the audience, who have attended Kensington Community Church in Troy MI for the first time for the concerts, return the next day for church services. It reports that a person name "Hudson" says that, "Church isn't just about Sunday morning". "It's an invitation for people to touch our community and ultimately find a personal relationship with God available to them."[Editor] Folks, Church is not about anything the article speaks of. The CHURCH is a BODY of BELIEVERS. The CHURCH is not a PLACE; it is a LIVING ORGANISM in a local setting. A MUSIC CONCERT is NOT the power of God unto salvation; therefore it CANNOT get young adults into the CHURCH. CHURCH is not about Sunday or any other day. The CHURCH is those that are placed in the BODY OF CHRIST. CHURCH is what happens AFTER the CHURCH invites the community by preaching the GOSPEL OF CHRIST; the power of GOD to place them that believe the good news INTO THE CHURCH.
*****************************************************SODOMITES FORGIVING SINS?
A survey of Roman Catholic priests by the Kansas City Star has discovered that priests may be dying of AIDS at a much higher rate than is to be found in the U.S. population as a whole. The survey results imply that a significant number of priests are homosexual and not celibate.
The Star sent the survey randomly to 3,000 priests and got a 27 percent response. Seven respondents said they either have HIV or AIDS or might have but had not been tested. This ratio--about 1 in 114--is about three times higher than the national average. Six of every ten respondents also said they knew at least one priest who had died of an AIDS-related illness. One-third of the respondents knew a priest currently living with AIDS (Christian Century, 3/1/00).[Editor] A Roman Catholic Sodomite is to forgive the sins of an Adulteress? How 'bout that! Roman Catholic Clergy cannot MARRY a WOMAN but they "most certainly" do FORNICATE with MEN & BOYS.
Ever hear about the WHORE of Revelation thirteen, and how for centuries Christians understand this to be the Roman Catholic Church? This Church will play an "important" role in the end-times. Maybe more so than many believe.
I guess some Roman Catholic clergy get addicted to homosexuality and after awhile no longer desire a woman. The Book of Daniel speaks thus of the anti-Christ.
Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, "nor the desire of women", nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
***************************************************BIBLE-BASED OR HELL INSPIRED?
The Alpha Course, a 15-session introduction to the basics of Christianity, continues growing in popularity in the United States. More than 180,000 people are expected to participate this year at more than 1,800 courses in churches of various denominations, including Roman Catholic, mainline Protestant, charismatic, and evangelical. Aimed at people who do not go to church, the nondenominational course is designed to allow them to discuss Christianity in a relaxed setting. It has become a major evangelistic tool (Christian News, 3/13/00).[Editor] If you wish to learn more about the Alpha Course ask for the three-part article that I offer on this matter. "The Alpha Course: Is It Bible-Based Or Hell-Inspired?" (See On-Line Resources)
********************************************************SPIRITUAL JOB HUNTING.
Seminary School Graduates Search for Churches
(Excerpts from an article in the May 19, 2000, Fort Worth Star Telegram)[Paper] Bennie Braddick is interviewing for a family -- a church family, that is. The recent divinity school graduate has begun a search that she hopes will end not just in a job, but also a community of faith. And though she soon may be weighing benefit packages, congregation sizes and locations, ultimately she will rely on God to lead her to the right church, she said. "I think you just have a feeling, and you know whether or not it's where you belong," Braddick said.
[Editor} Ultimately (in the end) she will rely on God? BIG LIE. Other than being Scripturally disqualified, (1 Timothy chapter 2) she and ALL other seminary students as well as present "job holding" pastors are a mockery to my Master, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and I don't like it one bit.
These seminary graduate students are NO DIFFERENT from secular graduate students. They BOTH are JOB-HUNTING. They BOTH are weighing salary, benefit packages, congregation (business) sizes and locations, and it is THESE factors, NOT GOD, that will lead them into the right business/church (one & the same entity)
You think it is ONLY the U.S. "secular business" economy that is doing well. How 'bout the "spiritual business" economy? Read on
[Paper] For Braddick -- and the hundreds of newly graduated students who will collect degrees this year from area seminaries -- the pastor prospects are good. With clergy shortages that, in some mainline Protestant denominations, verge on critical, those entering church ministries often have choices.
The trouble for some is finding the right fit, rather than any fit at all. "Right now the job market is very, very good for ministers," said Stephen Sprinkle, who teaches theology and helps graduates find jobs. "We are producing more ministers than we have ever produced before, but we cannot meet the demand."[Editor} The "job market" has ALWAYS been good for TRUE MINISTERS of God. Read on.
Matt 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Sound like an Alan Greenspan report on the economy? The economy is not that good you say? LIFT UP YOUR EYES.
John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
In God's economy, the demand has ALWAYS exceeded the supply. RIGHT? I take liberty to answer my own question. AMEN-RIGHT!
The difficulty of the secular job market is mirrored in the spiritual.
[Paper] "Getting the gifts of the people to match the jobs is tough," said Richard Faling of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, who oversees the staff information service, a resource for job candidates and church leaders. "But there are a lot of jobs out there."
In particular, there are a lot of jobs for students willing to move out of the Metroplex and into small-town churches, seminary placement directors said.
"If I had 100 people who wanted rural churches, I could plug them in all over the place," said Bob Kaumeyer, director of placement at Dallas Theological Seminary.[Editor] I have two sons in the medical field. They are both RN's in the field of Home-Health. They report of "financial incentives" offered to doctors who will accept rural clinics.
Folks, the Lord Jesus Christ founded the CHURCH to convert the WORLD, but the world has converted the organized church. This century the church has let the world into the church as "seekers". They recruited the world for numbers sake and financial opportunities. The church gave up Christ for impressive "head counts" and "tithes & offerings".
Programs, entertainment and such have replaced "sound words", and as a result the VAST MAJORITY of churches are going to hell in a breadbasket. Only they don't have a "breadbasket". "Cracker barrel" I should say" (in reference to the Lords Supper "cracker").
Read on.
[Paper] Take David Mallory, pastor of First Christian Church of Albany, a town of about 2,000 just east of Abilene.
At the time Mallory was getting ready to leave his job as the administrator of a Tyler clinic to attend Brite Divinity School, the Albany church was looking for a part-time youth minister, he said.
"Initially, I had the same qualms as everyone else," Mallory said. "I had no interest in going to West Texas."
But the church invited Mallory, his wife and two children out for an interview. In pursuit of a weekend getaway, the Mallorys accepted the invitation.
And they decided to return.
After three months as youth minister, the church's pastor resigned and the leadership called on Mallory to take the job.
"I want to be in a church where it is a good fit, where we can do ministry together, where I like their style and they like my style," Mallory said.[Editor] Now do you reckon that the "Lord" gathered this person, or did this person "gather himself" and with the approval of "who", the Lord or the deacons?
What helped this man in his decision to stay?
[Paper] Adjusting to life in a small town was really not that hard, Mallory said. Sure, fast-food joints did not clutter every corner, but his children could play in the neighborhoods without fear, and his wife easily found work as an accountant.
"We'd liked the Piney Woods" Mallory said, referring to East Texas. "But we've realized that there really is a sunset, and there is a sunrise.
"I had no intentions of coming here in the first place, but at this point in time, I have no intentions of leaving," Mallory said.[Editor] A graduate of Brite Divinity School (woman) will be ordained in the denomination (Disciples of Christ) as a minister next week and hopes to find a position as the pastor of a church with an average attendance of more than 100.
[Paper] "People need help -- they need a spiritual link in their lives,"[Editor] But only people who gather together in numbers in access of 100, I reckon.
**********************************************THE OATH OF THE UNASHAMED
Thousands of young lives were "transformed for eternity" during a rally for 60,000 teen-agers last weekend, the man who oversaw prayer teams during the event said. "On Friday night when the altar call came, thousands were on their knees before the Lord, many committing their lives to Him for the first time," saidWillie Joubert, who organized volunteers who prayed with and for the young people during the event.
Leaders at the rally, organized by the ministry challenged the teens to reach their generation with the Gospel and transform their communities and the world. Many of the teens committed themselves to go on summer missions trips throughout the world, Joubert said, and thousands stood and repeated The Oath of the Unashamed
THE OATH OF THE UNASHAMED
I pledge my life:
Recognizing I am no longer my own-
Belonging to God, who has called me to lead the world.I pledge my character:
Understanding that it is the cornerstone of leadership-
I make God's Word the final authority-
Directing my motives and actions.I pledge my service:
Realizing I am chosen by God-not by men-
I will give my life away to serve others. To this end:
I will stand for the hurting, the hopeless, and the unloved.
I will say what others refuse to say.
I will reach the world without losing sight of the individual.
I will walk upright, speak the truth, and live above reproach.
I will not be ashamed to fall on my knees-
To cry out to God-
To shed tears for the dying-
To live a life worthy of a leader.
To stand up and lead my generation, that all may know,
Jesus Christ is alive.
(Religion News Today-4-20-2000)[Editor] Almost ALL already know that Jesus is alive. Do Roman Catholics know? You can bet your bottom dollar they do. Do Mormons know. You can bet your last penny they do. Do active sodomites know? You can bet your pants (but be careful) they do. The devils believe Jesus is alive. They "tremble", (James 2:19) they don't make "commitments"
Are Roman Catholics, Mormons, Sodomites and Devils going to heaven? I will bet my LIFE they are not. They ARE NOT going unless "such WERE some of them." (1 Cor 6:9-11)
If I have said this once, I have said it a thousand times. Making a COMMITMENT to God is NOT the FAITH unto salvation. This oath sounds like a good moral and upstanding commitment, but I took oaths such as this in the "Knights of Columbus" back when I was a "committed" Roman Catholic. I took oaths such as this back when I was President of the "Holy Name Society", where we men drank much alcohol and played poker "in Jesus Name". This was AFTER the meeting of course in which we made "commitments" and made plans for how to raise money to do "good works" in the Parish.
We would have these "business meetings" where we would decide on the best way to raise money to do service to Jesus, the King, so we would "sponsor" a "Las Vegas Night" and sell raffle tickets on a gun of some sort, or whatever.
This teenage rally is the "feel good gospel" being preached today folks. These kids want to tell the world what THEY will do for the Lord and not so much as what HE has done for the world. They say, "THIS is what I will do" The world started by grabbing the churches by the tail, and now the church is embracing the world. They are in the "same camp". They are "roommates" They are "lovers in bed together".
The American politicians are preaching Morality and Money. The Ministries are preaching Morality and Money, while many of them are in violation of the Laws of God AND man. They ALL are calling on society in general to lead a so-called "Christian Lifestyle". They are trying to change the "physical" moral standing of a person, before the "world" while neglecting the "spiritual" standing of a person before "God".
**********************************************ISN'T THIS THE ISM'S
In a rite attended by local witches and scores of singing children led by a black-robed priestess, the mayor of Asheville, North Carolina declared the last week of October "Earth Religions Awareness Week."
The Washington Times quoted the resolution: "Whereas, Earth Religions are among the oldest spiritual systems on the planet; and whereas, Followers of many Earth-centered religions live and worship in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. . . ." (Sword of the Lord, 1/21/00).[Editor] "Environmentalism" and "socialism" is the "new spiritualism" that is going on in this "American Spiritual Awakening". If it isn't ecumenicalism (religious unity) it's some other 'ism and I'm sick and tired of it all. I'm just about ready for a little R&R. This is "Righteous Ruling" with a little "rodism."(Rev 19:15)
************************************************ANCIENT MOTHER REPLACING ANCIENT OF DAYS ?
A kindergarten class in California was forced to sing a New Age song during a forestry field trip. Students sat on the ground and sang, "Where I sit is holy. Holy is the ground. Forest, mountain, river--listen to the sound. Great spirits circle all around me. . . . Ancient mother, I hear you calling. . . . Ancient mother, I hear your laughter. Ancient mother, I taste your tears." Parents of one of the students filed suit against the Pajaro Valley School District after they were denied a public hearing on the incident by the school board (Education Reporter, 12/99).[Editor] America the beautiful, founded on Godly principles, is going back to ancient times when the ancient peoples worshipped the creature rather than the Creator. But the "ancient mother" is gonna get hers from the "Ancient of Days" folks, (Daniel chapter seven) but it sure is tough waiting on the longsuffering of our God and Savior. 'Course if it wasn't for His longsuffering I'd be burning in hell by now. But He protected me until He saved me at the age of 54. Before October 21st 1981 at which time I sobered up, I was a drunk, and believe me, drunks have many opportunities to get themselves and others killed.
Even as a drunk, I believed in the Ancient of Days, I just thought I had to EARN His salvation.
****************************************************FRANKLY SPEAKING POCKET BOOKS
Pocket Books is marketing a "frank" manual for girls as young as ten, telling them how to become a feminist, lesbian, and pro-abortion activist. Deal With It: A Whole New Approach to Your Body, Brain and Life as a Gurl is popular among teens and a top seller on Amazon.com's young adult list. The book is also finding its way to plenty of public-school libraries. Publishers Weekly gave this glowing report: "In a frank, nonjudgmental tone, they discuss topics and details that more conservative guides might skip: lesbianism and bisexuality receive respectful and thorough treatment" (World, 12/11/99).[Editor] Yeah, folks, America sends her kids to school to "learn how to sin", as if the sinful nature of people needed help from the school system. Teach 'em how to commit abominations before God and when they get old they will not depart from it. God have mercy on us and help us. Enable us to endure in this, the vexing of our souls. Even so, come Lord Jesus.
*********************************************PRIMING TEACHERS TO TEACH SIN
A second homosexual propaganda video targeting public schools is now being produced. The first video, It's Elementary, was intended as a primer for teachers. The sequel, That's A Family!, kicks off a three-video series that will be shown directly to children in classrooms. The video intertwines stories of children with homosexual and lesbian parents with stories of adoptive, interracial, multi-generational, and step-families.
In a letter to supporters, producers Debra Chasnoff and Helen Cohen bragged about their "stunning" success in marketing the first video to schools, and in convincing 115 PBS stations to air it as well. The letter said the second video That's A Family! is "the first anti-bias media curriculum available for elementary and middle school classrooms that integrates gay people into the full spectrum of diversity" (AFA Journal, 2/00).[Editor] Teacher education seminars are elementary primers for a teacher that is "young" in the art of indoctrination of the children. The "system" needs to train up teachers just like the schools train up children. Used to be the schools were a benefit to the children, and not it teachers them "multiculturalism", tolerationalism and differentialism.
Folks, we're getting eat up with the ism's.
*******************************************************GAMBLING ROMAN CATHOLICS
Las Vegas Nights, offering games of easy craps, black jack, roulette, a money wheel, and an hourly 50/50 raffle, were held October 1-2 at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Westland, Michigan. Beer and refreshments were also available. St. Edith Catholic Church in Livonia has also had Las Vegas Nights, reports the Detroit Free Press (Sword of the Lord, 12/24/99).[Editor] Now this is something I used to do. I used to work these Las Vegas gambling nights in the Catholic church I belonged to. Hey-I was a "big man" in that church. I could organize these types of things. Why, my wife organized one of the biggest bingo nights in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas TX in the 1970's.
Ask for me and my wife's testimony if you want it and I will send it by e-mail if you don't have Internet access.
*********************************************************MULTI COVENENTS FOR MULTI PEOPLES
God's knowledge of the future and the necessity of faith in Christ were questioned at the 51st annual meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS). Two Baptist theologians, Bruce Ware and Clark Pinnock, stood on opposing sides of the ever-widening chasm among evangelicals on these fundamental doctrines. ETS is a national organization for theologians and biblical scholars who claim to hold to the doctrine of biblical inerrancy. More than 1,100 of the organization's 2,850 members attended the annual meeting on November 17-19.
Pinnock, professor of theology at the Canadian Baptist McMaster Divinity School in Ontario, argued for a "more inclusive" understanding of the last things, which includes the salvation of many who have never come to faith in Christ. Calling himself a "universal opportunity person" rather than a universalist, Pinnock said, "God has more than one covenant and more than one people." Speaking of "various paths to Jesus Christ," Pinnock believes that God offers salvation to pagans who participate "in Christ's loving way of life which manifests itself in the service of others" (Christian News, 12/6/99).[Editor] I can't find that in my Bible anywhere. Folks, not even a "perverted" version says things like this professor of "Devilitus" states. [Got that word from "Johnny the Baptist" web page. Check it out, it's good http://www.johnnythebaptist.org/]
God made only TWO covenants.
Covenant Number One.--God as Mediator
Hebrews 10:13 say that the OLD covenant decayed and vanished away. It done it's job and that job was to make sin exceedingly sinful (Rom 7:13) and serve as a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. (Gal 3:24)Covenant Number Two --Jesus Christ as Mediator.
This is a "new" covenant. (Heb 12:24) This is an "everlasting" covenant. (Heb 13:20) No more covenants folks. This NEW one is the LAST one. This professor speaks of the salvation of many who have never come to faith in Christ, but I've got news for him. The God of the Bible, and for me that's the King James Version of the Bible has THIS to say about the Mediator of this NEW and LAST covenant.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Check out your Bible real quick and see if you can find a verse that says something like; "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of good works; for do unto others as you would have them do unto you is the power of god to everyone that believes this lie; to the pagan first and also to the heretic."
MY Bible says THIS
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
AMEN?
